Terms of Service

My Car Pal is a hosted record-keeping and reminder service. It does not replace a mechanic, manufacturer schedule, insurer, government notice, recall notice, or legal advice. You remain responsible for vehicle safety and required deadlines.

You are responsible for accurate information, lawful uploads, and protecting your credentials. You retain ownership of the records and files you submit and grant My Car Pal the limited permission needed to store, process, back up, and display them to you.

Free accounts may manage one vehicle. Premium Annual accounts may manage up to ten vehicles and include recommended maintenance schedules. We may improve features over time, but we will not advertise unavailable capabilities as part of a paid purchase.

Premium is billed in advance and renews automatically each year until canceled. The founding offer is $19 for the first year for the first 25 eligible new customers and renews at $29 per year. The checkout page shows the amount and renewal terms before payment.

You may cancel through your profile and Stripe billing portal; access continues through the paid period. Failed payments may receive a seven-day recovery period before paid features are restricted. New annual purchases are refundable on request within 14 calendar days. Later payments are non-refundable except where required by law or expressly approved.

We do not require you to delete records to downgrade. If an account exceeds the free limit, existing records remain readable and exportable while new edits are limited to one selected vehicle. Account deletion and legal-retention requests can be made through Contact.

Do not misuse the service, attempt unauthorized access, upload malware, or interfere with other customers. We may suspend abusive or unlawful use. Service may occasionally be unavailable for maintenance or events outside reasonable control.
