Private vehicle records, no advertising, and no sale of customer data.
We collect account details and the vehicle, mileage, maintenance, reminder, registration, insurance, document, support, billing-status, and attribution information you choose to provide. Payment card details are collected by Stripe, not stored by My Car Pal.
We use this information to operate your garage, secure your account, send account and billing notices, deliver requested reminders and optional setup guidance, process subscriptions, provide support, measure activation and reliability, prevent abuse, and comply with law. Setup guidance and reminder choices are available from your profile. Funnel measurement uses event names and campaign fields without VINs, plates, document names, or uploaded content.
My Car Pal does not display third-party advertising and does not sell customer data. We do not use vehicle records for dealership lead generation or behavioral ad targeting.
We use providers including Vercel and Vercel Blob for hosting and files, Neon/Postgres for data, Stripe for billing, and Resend for service emails. They process limited data on our behalf under their own security and privacy commitments.
Customer records and uploads remain customer content. Access checks are tied to the signed-in account. We use encrypted transport, restricted production credentials, and user-scoped queries, but no online service can promise absolute security.
You can export core record data as CSV or JSON and download original files from their records. We retain data while the account is active and as reasonably needed for backups, fraud prevention, billing, disputes, or law. Contact us to request account deletion or another privacy request.
If My Car Pal is involved in a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, customer information may transfer subject to applicable law and an updated privacy notice. Material policy changes will be posted with a new effective date.
Privacy questions and access, correction, export, or deletion requests can be submitted through Contact. This policy is effective August 25, 2026.
